I want to first thank you for all your efforts this summer, from the planning to workshops to recreation, I know your groups appreciate all that you do for them. Just in case they don't appreciate you, I do!
I was thinking of a way that we could collectively reflect on our summer and the experiences we have been having and build an even stronger program based on those reflections while documenting our work. Then, it hit me! A blog would be an accessible way to collectively discuss and reflect while documenting our reflections. Plus...you can blog on your own time so you are free from an ultra lengthy ed enrichment meeting in addition to your Beacon 219 staff meetings!
So, plan to reflect weekly and at the end of each Pathway, not for me but for yourselves and your colleagues (and DFOY!). The reflections on each Pathway will help the other group leaders decide how to tailor each two-week Pathway cycle to their kids as well as share what your groups are up to!
You should also share ideas about Pathway Projects that could be displayed at our upcoming (fast-approaching) International Youth Day 2009!
